Objectified Reflection

Objectified Reflection:
After watching the movie Objectified, I felt like my mind had exploded. There was so much knowledge and interesting facts thrown at me that I did not know what was the most important. I do not many that in a bad way at all. The people and there personal theories on designing a product fascinated me. One particular person who stood out was Jonathan Ive, the Senior VP Industrial Designer for Apple. When he was talking about designing and redesigning the MacBook Pros, he mentioned how that if a part of a design does not serve a purpose to aid the consumer, then it does not need to be in the design. Also, listening to Dieter Rams talk about his ten good principles and his design theories, I immediately understood his ideas. Even though I read them, with him explaining them himself it made more of an impact on me. After seeing the movie, I seriously have started to consider a major in Industrial Design.
